NEWS : Astier Demarest enlarges its product base and creates a Fruit department

Updated : 27/05/2015

By integrating into its team Nicolas Gouzée and Magali Morgen, specialists in fruit sourcing, Astier Demarest continues development of its line of essential oils and is diversifying its product base by including processed fruit.

Enlarging supply of citrus products
The company already offers a selection of origin-sourced products: essential oils and derivatives coming principally from South American citrus.
These two experts in the production and negotiation of fruits bring 20 years of experience to give access to new sources, in Panama or Equador, and to establish new partnerships with growers.
As with those already initiated with Sucorrico, Citrofoods, Ecocitrus, and Flavor Tec, the partnerships will be centred on human-scale organizations in which methods respect a spirit of environmental and social responsibility.

Creation of a Fruit department
Astier Demarest is also undertaking a new business with creation of a Fruit department, dedicated to negotiating for citrus products and tropical fruit.
Also led by Nicolas Gouzée and Magali Morgen, in collaboration with Eddy Post Consult for quality control and technical monitoring, it will offer a line of natural, conventional, and organic fair-trade juices, fruit purees, and flavourings: orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, banana, etc.
